Agro Pro – Karnobat is the biggest Organic Almond growing company in Bulgaria.
We have been farming since year 2000 and from the same beginning we set the ambition task to become one of the leading almond producers in the country with premium quality and excellent production.
At the present we are growing over 108 HA of yang fine almonds gardens.
As we are committed to being the industry leader in quality, efficiency and safety, and following the recent market trends and needs, in the year of 2010 we started Organic Farming.

WHY US?

According to the European Commission, Organic Farming shows a constant growth in the recent years. Compared to the Traditional Farming it contributes to the protection of our natural resources in a different way. The Organic Agricultural methods respects biological diversity and gives it a chance to enhance if possible; the methods lower the soil pollution and erosion by monitoring what put and take out of this natural resource; they contribute to a healthy environment by increasing the capacity of the soil, and maintain the quality of water resources.

The Traditional Farming depends, pretty often, on the way, how the product looks like. Its size, its color or shape, its expiration time, were leading quality criteria. With the help of agro-chemistry methods, the Traditional Farming became very intensive, large amount of production effective, and cheaper. The increased use of chemical synthetic pesticides, synthetic nitrogen fertilizers, antibiotics, leads to the increased quantity of water and proteins in the threes, very intensive growth and production, but vitamins and microelements deficit. The quantity is on the account of quality.

Agro Pro – Karnobat team believes that Organic Farming is the better alternative in Agriculture. There are more and more evidences and researches showing the benefits of organic food.
